Accessibility statement
We want everyone in a household to be able to read this site and take part in the world it describes.
Our standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across gemnix.com, and we treat any gap as a bug rather than a nice-to-have.
What we have built in
- A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Full keyboard operation of navigation, dropdown menus, filters and forms.
- Text contrast checked against the dark background, with faction identity always stated in words as well as colour.
- Headings in order, landmark regions, and descriptive link text rather than 'click here'.
- Alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on decorative ones.
- Form fields with real labels, error messages tied to their field, and errors announced rather than only coloured.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences: ambient movement is disabled when your system asks for less motion.
- Text that reflows at 400% zoom and on narrow screens without loss of content.
Feywild activities and inclusion
Each Feywild Village guide includes accessibility notes: seated-height builds, table-top and planter alternatives, and versions that need no fine motor control or long periods of kneeling.
Known limitations
- Some illustrated map detail is decorative; the same places are described in text on the places page.
- Draft product photography may not yet have final descriptive alternative text.
- The online adventure at https://gemnix.world is a separate product with its own accessibility characteristics.
