For families
Information for parents and guardians
A plain-language summary of what your child will find in Gemnix Terra, what we do and do not collect, and how to build a Feywild village safely outdoors.
What Gemnix is
Gemnix Terra is a story-driven fantasy world in which four elemental factions — earth, water, fire and air — disagree about what should be done with the power held in mystical gems. The conflict is a disagreement between well-meaning groups, not a fight between good and evil.
The world appears in an online adventure, in tabletop games and books, in collectibles, and in Feywild Villages that families build outdoors.
Age guidance and content
- The online adventure is designed for ages 10 and up, and for younger players playing alongside a grown-up.
- There is fantasy conflict and peril. There is no graphic violence, no horror imagery and no realistic weapons.
- Physical products carry their own age guidance on the product page and on the box; small parts are marked.
- Feywild Village activities are labelled with a suggested age and whether a grown-up should be present.
What happens on gemnix.com
This site is our brand and information home. It does not create accounts, does not host gameplay, and does not ask children for personal information.
The only information we collect here is what an adult chooses to send us: an email address for the newsletter, or the details in an enquiry form.
What happens on gemnix.world
Gameplay, accounts, saved progress, any social features and any purchases live at https://gemnix.world, which operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you want an account changed, paused or deleted, that request needs to go to the game site — we cannot action it from here.
Purchases and spending
- Gemnix.com never takes payment. Product pages link out to retailers or show a status instead.
- Any optional in-game purchase is shown with its price before payment, on the game site.
- We do not advertise to children on this website, and we do not use behavioural advertising.
Building outdoors safely
- Choose ground that already drains well and that nobody walks across.
- Rest everything on the ground or on its own base. Never nail, screw, wire or glue anything to a living tree or plant.
- Never dig into roots, and never move stones or wood that something is living under.
- Supervise any build near water, near roads, or above knee height.
- Take everything home again. A village should be able to disappear without leaving a mark.
